SMART Goals

Education

S - Apply and be accepted into UNM Anderson Business School.
M - This will be measured by the completion of my AA Degree.
A - Acceptance into Anderson Business School is attainable by staying the current course of completing my AAS Degree
R - Continuing my education into HR management will help in achieving my overall goal of helping other managers succeed.
T - I aim to achieve this goal within the next 18 months.

Career

S - Gain a position within the retail industry where I can use my AAS Degree.
M - This will be measured by the number of interviews I received versus the number of positions applied for.
A - This goal is very attainable because I have confidence in my previous professional experience combined with my AAS Degree.
R - It is relevant to gain as much knowledge about the people I want to help.
T - I aim to achieve this goal within 3 to 6 months however, it could take 6 to 12 months to achieve.

Career

S - Gain a position as a Human Resource Manager.
M - This will be measured by the acceptance and completion of my BBA in HR Management.
A - This goal is attainable if I stay motivated and continue my education.
R - Gaining a position as an HR Manager will be more in line with my mission statement.
T - I aim to achieve this goal within a 5-year time frame.

Education

S - Return to school to earn a Master's Degree in HR Management.
M - This goal will be measured by the completion of my BBA, and obtaining an HR Management position.
A - This goal is attainable through applying for scholarships and a savings account for returning to school.
R - Continuing my education into HR Management will help in achieving my overall goal of helping other managers continue to succeed.
T - I aim to achieve this goal within 7 to 10 years.
